The top way to grow your SFI home business is with a web site. There are basically two options available to you and both have their advantages and disadvantages.
Pre-Made Site- This is by far the easiest way to get your Internet home business going. I was actually introduced to SFI through a program called Plug-In Profit. You can have your own Internet business set up and ready to go in as little as 24 hours.
It also comes loaded with five additional affiliate programs that combined can make you a stream of income. Once the site is made it is totally yours. You can add or delete any affiliate marketing programs you wish. When you sign up you given the option of enrolling in each program separately so if choose not to join a particular program you do not have to. You control the appearance of the site and everything involved with your web site.
It also comes with access to one of the most active forums on the Internet. Here hundreds of fellow members offer advice on how to succeed and even give you their opinions on the programs that are being promoted.
There are a few drawbacks as well. In order to offer everyone a free website they all must look alike. While this not necessarily a problem making changes can be a little difficult if you have no experience. While it seems that the rest of the Internet is moving to WordPress for ease of use Plug-In Profits continues to hold to the soon to be outdated html format.
The other issue is the web hosting company. Host4Profit is a great company with excellent customer service. However, their monthly hosting fee is higher than most and they are one of the few major hosting company ’s that have yet to embrace WordPress.
Even with these few drawbacks I still think Plug-In Profits is an excellent way to start to grow your SFI down line. As you learn the ropes of owning your own Internet home business you will gain confidence in making changes to your website and the fellow PIP members will always help you in the forum.
Build It Yourself – This seems to be for the more adventurous of the Internet marketers but it is not nearly as difficult as many would believe.
The satisfaction of building your site yourself gives many more joy then the actual promoting part of the business. It also seems that those who build a site from scratch seem to have more success because they have put more into their business from the start.
BlueHost is probably the best option for hosting especially if you choose to use a WordPress format. They offer one of the lowest monthly fees and you can host unlimited domains on one account. As you learn more about running a Internet home business you will want to have more then one site. With BlueHost other than the fee for the domain name (about $10 per year) there is charge.
Actually building a website is actually quite simple. With just a few clicks you will have a site and then you can download hundreds of free themes to give your site a unique look.
Making a post is as simple as typing a MS Office document and no html experience is necessary.
